It stalled part-way#
Uploads resume where they left off rather than starting again, so a dropped connection costs seconds, not the batch.
Reconnect and let it carry on. If it doesn't pick up, reopening Keepr generally restarts it.
Only some of the selection went#
Two likely reasons:
Low battery. Below 20% and not charging, a single selection is trimmed to 150 items and you'll see a note. Plug in and add the rest.
Keepr left the screen. Uploading needs Keepr in front of you — in a browser that means keeping the tab open, and on an iPhone it means leaving Keepr on the screen rather than switching apps.
The Android app is the exception: uploads there keep running while you use the phone for something else, because Android lets an app hold a running job with a notification. iOS does not offer the equivalent, so the iPhone app uploads while you are watching it. If you regularly add hundreds of things from a phone, that difference is worth knowing.
It won't start at all#
Your allowance is full. Uploads stop; everything stays visible. See How storage is counted, and try removing originals you've finished with — usually the fastest way to free real space.
The account is read-only after a failed payment or a cancellation. Same behaviour, and everything is still downloadable. See If a payment fails.
You don't have upload permission for that album. In a shared album, adding photos is off unless the owner allowed it; in a hub album, an admin may have switched it off. See Who can do what in an album.
The file was rejected#
Keepr accepts JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, GIF, WebP, BMP and TIFF for photos, and MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV and WebM for video. Anything else — RAW files, documents, audio — won't upload.
There's no limit on how long a video can be.
It uploaded but I can't see it#
Probably still processing, particularly for video, which is converted for playback after it arrives. Give it a few minutes.
If it's been longer, work through I can't see photos that should be there — a stack or a filter is more often the answer than a failed upload.
Uploading a lot at once#
A computer is usually easiest for a large batch, and a phone on Wi-Fi and charging is the next best. Very large jobs are worth starting when you don't need the device immediately — uploading is one of the most power-hungry things a phone does.
