Everything you can change about a photo after it's uploaded is in one place: open the photo and tap ⋯. Only the person who uploaded it sees these options.
Turn it the right way up#
Tap ⋯, choose Rotate, and tap the photo until it's the right way up. Nothing changes until you tap Save, and then it changes for good, for everyone who can see the photo.
Videos can't be rotated.
Fix the date it was taken#
A photo from a scanner, a messaging app or an old phone sometimes arrives with no date, or the wrong one. Tap ⋯, then the pencil beside Date taken, or Add date taken if it has none.
Add a note, a place, a milestone or tags#
Tap ⋯ and write a note in About this memory, or tap Add location, milestone or tags (Edit details once it has some).
To do the same to many photos at once, select them in your library, or on the page that opens after an upload, and tap Details. Tags are added to what each photo already has. See Organising an upload.
Tags are worth adding: search finds photos by them.
What Keepr doesn't do#
There's no crop, filter, brightness or drawing tool. To change how a photo looks, edit it on your phone or computer first and upload the edited copy.
The one exception is old prints: when you scan one in the phone app, Keepr can fix faded colours, and you can switch between the restored and the original scan.
Someone else's photo#
Only the person who uploaded a photo can rotate it or change its details. If it's a photo of you, you can ask for it: if they agree, it becomes yours.
