Keepr Keepr is a private place to keep your family's photos and videos, and to look at them together with the people who matter to you.
That sounds like a lot of apps. The difference is in what it doesn't do: there is no public feed, no algorithm deciding what your family sees, and no advertising anywhere in the product.
What Keepr is for#
Two things, and they're related.
Keeping. Somewhere your photos and videos live that isn't a phone that might get lost or a hard drive nobody has plugged in since 2019. You can get everything back out again whenever you like — see Download your photos.
Sharing, but narrowly. Your parents seeing the holiday photos doesn't mean your colleagues do. You decide who sees what, group by group, and you can change your mind later.
Who can see your photos#
Only people you've given access to. There's no browsing, no discovery, no "people you may know". Someone reaches your photos because you put them in a space they're part of, or because you invited them by name.
The one deliberate exception is a share link, which you create yourself and can switch off at any time. It exists so a grandparent who won't install an app can still open a link and see the photos.

There are no ads, on any plan#
Not on the free tier, not for the people you invite, not anywhere. Keepr is paid for by storage subscriptions.
This matters more than it sounds. In apps funded by advertising, the person who pays gets a clean view and everyone else — the grandparents you invited, who never chose the app — keeps seeing ads next to your children's photos. That can't happen here, because there is nothing to switch off.
What it costs to begin#
Nothing, in either of two ways:
- A personal account starts with 5 GB.
- A Starter Hub gives up to three people 10 GB of shared storage, free, with no card.
The second is the one most families want, and it's covered in Start with your household. Paid plans add more space and, on the larger ones, keep the original file your camera produced alongside the version you browse.
What Keepr isn't#
It isn't a backup tool that silently copies everything on your phone. You choose what goes in.
It isn't a social network. There are no followers, no public profiles and nothing to discover.
And it isn't an ad-supported service with a paid tier that removes the ads. There were never any ads to remove.
