Photos#

JPEG · PNG · HEIC · HEIF · GIF · WebP · BMP · TIFF

HEIC and HEIF are what modern iPhones produce, and they work directly — nothing to convert before uploading.

Videos#

MP4 · MOV · AVI · MKV · WebM

MOV is the usual iPhone format and MP4 the usual Android one; both are fine.

Not supported#

• RAW camera files (CR2, NEF, ARW and similar).
• Documents and PDFs — Keepr is for photos and videos.
• Audio files.

If you shoot RAW, export a JPEG or TIFF for Keepr and keep the RAW in your own archive.

What's stored#

Photos are stored at up to 1920 pixels on the long edge, and — on plans of 500 GB and above — the original file is kept alongside. Videos are stored at 720p, and video originals aren't kept on any plan.

What you get back when you download#

• A photo, on a plan that keeps originals: the original file.
• A photo, otherwise: the stored copy, up to 1920px.
• A video: 720p, as stored.
• An album: a single zip file.
